Description
**2020 SEASON UPDATES WILL BE POSTED ON THE DURANGO FARMER'S MARKET WEBSITE**
We currently DO PLAN TO OPEN OUR MARKET on May 9th. It WILL look different, as we will be funtioning as a "food chain supplier." We will not be focusing on the "community gathering place" environment we normally provide. We will be following best practice guidelines for Farmers Markets while local social distancing rules are in effect. We are currently working with City and Health Department staff to create these new guidelines.
How you can help right now: Establish relationships with our vendors. Create your connections to be able to preorder or prepurchase your food. Be prepared to use our market as your PICK UP location.
***
LIVE & LOCAL veggies, fruit, meat, cheese, bread, coffee, juice, meals, music, friends, community organizations, massage, artisan goods, flowers, and more!
Summer Market
The Durango Farmers Market is held in the parking lot of TBK Bank, at 259 West 9th Street during our regular summer season. The parking lot is on the south side of the bank. Find us across the street from the City Transit Center between Main Ave and Camino Del Rio. The Transit Center offers free parking on the weekends. Please do not park at the Post Office!
"It is the mission of the Durango Farmers Market to strengthen community ties to agriculture: by providing a venue for regional agricultural producers to sell their products; by preserving open space; by promoting healthy farming practices; and by providing educational benefits through hands-on experience. The Durango Farmers Market seeks to improve the quality of life for all community members."
