OUR RANCH
Located in Jefferson, Colorado, we run a herd of pure breed Black Angus cattle. There is never a “slow day” here at the ranch. Whether its Spring calving season, or late Summer haying season, the ranch life is a busy life, one in which we wouldn’t trade for anything. We feel blessed to see our cows give birth to a new generation of cattle each Spring. In the Summer, we take pride in growing and cutting our own hay to feed our cattle throughout the year. We believe in doing things the old fashioned way - our mottos is “quality in everything we do”. There are no shortcuts here, and we hope you will see that when you visit us - virtually or in person.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We focus on Quality in everything we do and strive to be a successful and sustainable cattle ranch. The ranch is situated at 9,000 feet elevation in the Colorado High Country in central Colorado and straddles Tarryall Creek in one of the most beautiful and scenic high mountain valleys in the entire United States, where our cattle are born, raised and spend virtually all of their life. The Tarryall Valley has been designated as a National Rural Historic District and is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places as well as the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties. The Eagle Rock Ranch has been assigned a Smithsonian Institute identification number of 5PA.4467.
The Ranch is a proud member of the Beef Quality Assurance program and all of its owners, employees, and part-time help are BQA-certified. The Ranch produces high-quality all-natural and grass-fed Angus beef and is also proud to be associated with the Global Animal Partnership (GAP) and is GAP-certified Level 4.
